Joseph Gentry
Joe Gentry is a founding member of Southern Trace Underwriters and is responsible for the overall underwriting results and marketing of the Company. Joe brings over 26 years of insurance experience to Southern Trace. Joe most recently held the position of Underwriting Manager for Deep South of Tennessee. Prior to that he was Vice President/Program Manager for PENCO, a division of Willis North America, responsible for program development and carrier relations. Mr. Gentry’s experience includes several years of underwriting and claims management in the Managing General Agency business. He began his insurance career as a claims adjuster with a major insurance carrier. Joe received his BA from The University of Southern Mississippi where he graduated with honors. He holds the CPCU designation.
